Pre-Approved Plans Selected First for LA Fire Rebuilds
Clear Architecture has been selected by the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) for its pre-approved standard plan program, an initiative created to fast-track residential rebuilding following the Palisades and Eaton wildfires.
Launched by Mayor Karen Bass, the program establishes a catalog of pre-approved, code-compliant home designs to streamline permitting and accelerate recovery efforts. Clear Architecture’s submission—Plan SFH001—was the very first approved for inclusion.
The single-story design features an attached two-car garage, two bedrooms, and two-and-a-half bathrooms across approximately 2,968 square feet, with flexible options to meet homeowner needs.
“We’re honored to contribute to a program that prioritizes both speed and thoughtful design,” said Michael Bosio, Managing Principal of Clear Architecture. “This initiative provides a meaningful path forward for homeowners navigating the rebuilding process.”
